  1. Today’s lunch is Pizza.

  2. Beginning Monday, there will be no more charging in the cafeteria. No exceptions.

      Please make sure your lunch account is paid.

  1. State Testing dates:   Science for 8th grade is Tuesday, May 7.

Make sure to bring your charged chromebook and charger.  During the testing period students are not permitted to have communication devices in the testing room, this includes smart watches.  These will need to be placed in your locker during the testing period.

  1. Attention Jr. Honor Society members. We are in need of tutors. Please see Mr. Maleski to sign up.

 

  1. Attention Student Council and Jr. Honor Society  members, please check google classroom for the most recent updates.

 

  1. For those 6th and 7th graders who are running for Student Council for the 2024-2025 school year, please return your forms to the office by May 8th. Remember you are not to get a teacher signature. Mrs. Rowen will collect all forms and meet with each grade level. See Mrs. Rowen if you have any questions.

  2. There is a signup sheet in the office for 8th grade boys interested in playing soccer next year.

  3. There will be a meeting on Wednesday, May 8th, at 2:00pm for 8th grade girls interested in golf next year.

  4. Students that are waiting to enter the cafeteria for lunch must remain in line and stay to the right hand side of the hallway allowing those students and staff room to get by.

 

  1. Students if you are asked a question in conversation, it is only polite to ask a question in return. McCormick Students are polite and show others that they are just as interested in them as they are in you.

  2. McCormick students when in a conversation with another person always make eye contact. 

  3. Make sure you are exhibiting the skills of Positive Communication, Positive Group/Team Work, Being to class on Time, Problem Solving, Questioning and Reflecting, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Listening, and Empathy for a chance to earn a ticket for the end of the quarter rewards.  We will be giving away some great prizes.

  4. Stay in the Game - keep coming to school and make sure you are working hard to be the best me you can be.
